Cryptocurrencies and stablecoins: a high-frequency analysis

چکیده
Abstract We analyze cryptoasset markets (cryptocurrencies and stablecoins) at high frequency. investigate intraday patterns. show that Tether plays a crucial role as safe haven and/or store of value facilitating trading in cryptocurrencies without going through traditional currencies. Markets centered on stablecoins play primary aggregating preference/technology shocks heterogeneous opinions, instead the US dollar marginal price formation.
